Covid-19 practice update
IMPORTANT UPDATE 17/12/20
We are still encouraging as many people as possible to stay home, practice social distancing and self-isolation for possible infectious upper respiratory symptoms. It is still imperative that people with respiratory symptoms are getting covid tested as promptly as possible.
The government has extended the medicare telehealth scheme, however, we are now unable to bulk bill telehealth consults for patients who have not attended the practice in person in the last 12 months. We are still able to provide telehealth consultations for these patients, however the consultations will incur a fee of $58.75, which does not qualify for a medicare rebate. Patients who have been seen in the practice in the last 12 months are eligible for a medicare rebate of $38.75.
